Company History
Starting in 1986 Alan Wire set out to provide customers with short leads times on hard to find
wire and cable that normally had long factory lead times and large quantity requirements. By leveraging
decades of experience in the Aerospace wire and cable industry Alan Wire quickly grew into a leading
supplier and Master distributor. Soon, Alan Wire began to increase and expand on value added services, meeting the demand of customer needs. Shortly after, it built onto from its
decades of manufacturing experience and Alan Wire began offering hard to find and custom cables for customers
who did not have the time and resources to purchase large volumes from manufactures.
To supply its customers with the products they require, Alan wire maintains a
large inventory of stocked items. From rare cables to single conductors to complex cables, the diverse
inventory has allowed customers to build confidence in Alan Wire's ability to meet and exceed their needs. Product
is inspected from start to finish at Alan Wire's 15,000 plus foot facility in sunny Irwindale California. Facility
temperatures and humidity are monitored to maintain a supportive environment for sensitive
materials.
Alan Wire offers its customers with a wide range of services and support. A customer can come to us for custom
designs and engineering input or they can work with us to set up scheduled shipments or a JIT program to suit
their needs. At any time a customer can call us for technical support services for a variety of product
considerations from best practices and storage to detailed specification requirements and cross references.
